
This beautiful Dolphin pendant was cut-out by hand from a coin minted in 1993 in the Marshall Islands. The coin was part of a set minted for coin collectors around the world in celebration of the International Year of the Oceans. The set was called the Whales and Dolphins of the South Pacific.
The species of dolphins used on this coin bottle nose dolphins. The design on this coin shows three Dolphins leaping and playing while a cruise ship sits on the horizon.
Once carved, the pendant is plated in 14 karat gold and rhodium to enhance the enchanting design.
This coin is large measuring 1 1/4" in diameter.
Includes a 14-karat gold plated rope chain.
